We're Live Blogging from the Iowa-Illinois Football Game
Mike Hlas Nov. 1, 2008 12:35 pm
We from the Gazette sports staff are live blogging from the Iowa-Illinois game today, live from fabulous Champaign, Ill. The link is at the bottom of this post. Drop by and chime during or after the game.
It's two hours before kickoff, and the weather is drop-dead gorgeous. Nothing but blue sky, sun and comfortable warmth. I'm told it may snow for next Saturday's Penn State-Iowa game at Kinnick Stadium, so plan accordingly.
The Illinois campus rivals Purdue's for most bricks in the Big Ten. It would behoove the Hawkeyes today if Illini quarterback Juice Williams throws a few bricks.
Now go back to watching your 11 a.m., games, and then get over to the live blog if you're within Internet range during the Iowa game. If not for yourself, do it for Uncle Sam.
