Videos: Iowa basketball scrimmage

I watched about 30 minutes of today's shirts/skins basketball scrimmage at the upgraded Carver-Hawkeye Arena.

I thought forward Aaron White finished well around the basket. He was maybe the least heralded of the incoming recruits, but he could be the top freshman producer this season. Center Gabe Olaseni is raw but developing. He has good reaction skills, had a couple of nice blocks.

A scheduling note:

Look for the Big Ten to finally release the basketball schedule next week. Every week there have been television snags keeping it from being released. It looks like Iowa will open at home around Dec. 27 or 28, then play at Wisconsin on Dec. 31. Iowa hasn't played at Wisconsin since the 2009-10 season.
