VIDEO: Ohio State Athletic Director Gene Smith talks about Big Ten divisional alignment, what has and hasn't been decided

To hear Ohio State Athletic Director Gene Smith, nothing of importance has been finalized regarding Big Ten divisional alignment for football, including whether or not OSU and Michigan will be in the same division and whether they will continue to play on the last Saturday of the regular-season.
The video is at the end of the text here.
That would fly in the face of what Michigan AD Dave Brandon said a week earlier, which was "I think there's a distinct possibility that that (OSU-Michigan) game will be a later game in the season, but not necessarily the last game of the season."
This is Reason No. 9,999 to wish Bo Schembechler were still alive. Oh, it would have been wonderful to be a fly on the wall if Bo were a visitor in those Big Ten meetings.
By the way, a bit of a bombshell that is either a total dud or something wacky that has slipped through the cracks so far. It came in a Twitter post by Tony Gerdeman, who writes for Ohio State fan site
@Tony Gerdeman Per WTKA, Dave Brandon says cross-divisional games wouldn't count in the standings except for tie breakers. Damnable.
Brandon recently spoke on WTKA-AM, but I've yet to see any story about that particular nugget. Can you imagine if that happened? You could win your division with a 4-1 mark next year, but go 0-3 against teams from the other division and not be harmed. It's conceivable you could take a 7-5 or 6-6 overall mark into the Big Ten title game, and be playing for a Rose Bowl berth.
That would kind of be sick. It would have one element of fairness, though. If you got to play, say, a certain weak team and not Ohio State while a fellow division team played OSU and not that certain weak team (or vice versa), it isn't fair.
Like I said, it's just one Tweet about one AD's remark that may have just been off the cuff for all I know. I've seen or heard nothing from anywhere else to make me think it's anything more than that. But it's fun to consider.
I mean, how goofy would be to play three (and in the future, four) Big Ten games that don't go into the league standings?
Anyhow, here's Smith's specially made video for Buckeye fans:
