UNI's Koch, Eglseder, ISU's Brackins on all-district team

Northern Iowa seniors Jordan Eglseder and Adam Koch joined Iowa State's Craig Brackins on the USBWA's District VI team, which was announced this morning.
District VI includes the states of Iowa, Nebraska, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, South Dakota and North Dakota. The teams were chosen by members of the United States Basketball Writers Association.
Eglseder and Koch paced UNI to its second straight Missouri Valley Conference title. Eglseder, who hails from Bellevue, averaged a team-high 12 points and 7.3 rebounds a game . Koch, a Ashwaubenon, Wis. native, averaged 11.8 points a game and was named the MVC Player of the Year. UNI won the MVC Tournament on Sunday and has a 28-4 record.
Brackins, a junior from Palmdale, Calif., averaged 16.5 points and 8.4 rebounds a game for the Cyclones.
Other members of the team include Kansas' Cole Aldrich, Xavier Henry and Sherron Collins, Kansas State's Jacob Pullen and Denis Clemente, Missouri's Kim English and Oklahoma State's James Anderson.
Anderson was named the District VI Player of the Year. He averages 22.9 points a game for the Cowboys. Kansas State's Frank Martin was named the district's coach of the year.
