SS Tyler Sash is having Thanksgiving in IC. He'll be 23 in May. Don't know why I threw that in there. Well, OK I do, but you'll have to figure out why.
Junior DE Broderick Binns didn't have the year he wanted to, but he's not sweating it. DT Mike Daniels broke into the lineup and pushed him out of a starting job. He's still played, though, and isn't disappointed. He thinks next year's DL goes Binns, Daniel, Daniels and then he named a couple guys for the second DT.
Cornerback Micah Hyde talks about Iowa's troubles getting off the field in the fourth quarter. Iowa is 14 of 26 on third- and fourth-down conversions in its four losses this season. Hyde wouldn't get into next year. He's focused on today's practice.
Iowa DT Karl Klug is a native Minnesotan. You can just feel his passion for the rivalry in this video. Kidding, kidding. Klug is as laid-back as they come. He doesn't think a season finale for a rivalry is a big deal. He won't be around for Nebraska next season anyway.
TE Allen Reisner thinks junior Brad Herman will assume No. 1 TE next season with C.J. Fiedorowicz and Zach Derby holding the No. spot.
Iowa QB Ricky Stanzi was asked if this week -- without school and everything -- was like being in the NFL. He said, sure, but without the nice house, car, cash and everything that goes with the NFL.
Senior guard Julian Vandervelde talks about next year's possibilities on the OL and names a few darkhorses, including Casey McMillan and Woody Orne.
