Tuesday Talk -- Video version
Marc Morehouse

Here are videos from Iowa's Tuesday news conference. Good stuff today, I think, but you tell me.
OK, it's been driving me crazy all season. What running back does Adam Robinson remind me of? Finally, I just asked him. He said as a high schooler and younger he tried to be a Barry Sanders type because he was a smaller back (5-9, 200). I also asked about his "combine numbers." I think the conclusion here is that this is just a strong-willed person who wants to be good.
The Iowa linebacker talks about how his dad was a lifelong Hawkeyes fan (there's a bleep here, except I don't have a bleep button), kitchen tattoos with the family and the fact that he'd be in jail if he wasn't playing football. He credits his sense of humor to his brothers and sisters and friends. There's also some stuff here that referenced a story I did on him way back in August, a visit where I went bowling with him and his friends at Millertime Lanes in Bettendorf.
The Iowa wide receiver talks about quarterback James Vandenberg, who'll make his second career start this week. "James does tend to throw the ball pretty hard all the time, even at close range." Then, I asked about the fan reaction toward senior wide receiver Trey Stross. "It's kind of devastating as a teammate to see people look down on him."
The Iowa offensive tackle has WR Trey Stross' back. "He was a player in the game. Everyone made mistakes. . . . Everyone made mistakes." He also talks about Kirk Ferentz's decision to take a knee with 52 seconds left to end the game 24-24 in regulation. He has a little slip of the tongue. "Don't put that on there. That'll get back to me in a hurry."
The Iowa DE, a St. Paul native, talks about how he teases his hometown friends on the extra strength he gained over the winter from lifting the Floyd of Rosedale trophy. He also wouldn't mind roasting the bronze trophy for Thanksgiving.
The Iowa TE discusses quarterback James Vandenberg's debut, the six drops the receivers had last week and the amount of the amount of flak WR Trey Stross took after dropping three passes on Saturday.
The St. Paul native talks about playing against his hometown team. He also talks about the reaction from fans about taking a knee at the end of regulation against Ohio State last week. "We felt good about where we were at." He also talks about RB Adam Robinson's toughness.
