2) Seton Hall met with him last week about its basketball coaching opening. Seton Hall is still looking. According to this story on northjersey.com, McCaffery had been the Pirates' leading contender. Seton Hall was apparently offering in the $700,000 to $800,000 range. So long, Seton Hall.
3) The other teams in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference besides Siena are Canisius, Fairfield, Iona, Loyola (Md.), Manhattan, Marist, Niagara, Rider and St. Peter's.
