Things I learned in New York

NEW YORK -- Here I sit in LaGuardia Airport, waiting to return home from the hub of Western civilization.
What did I learn from this four-day trip that wasn't basketball-related?
1. I didn't get to eat at this Shake Shack in the Theater District, but it must be good. I walked by it several times, and there always were people lined up outside in the cold just to get inside for a burger and a shake, and everyone inside seemed very pleased with themselves.
2. I don't know what I actually learned, if anything. I'm bone-tired. This city will wear a boy out. It's go-go-go, baby.
I already knew the black and white cookie was two faces of flavor living side by side in harmony. Look to the cookie.
It's been a long college basketball season, so I'm taking the rest of the day away from it while I fly home. Please tell me it has warmed up in Iowa. Even if it hasn't, tell me it has.
