The Sports Desk -- On Iowa, on the clock

OK, so now we're doing an "On Iowa" webcast, so you can see what you've been hearing for the last year or so on the "On Iowa" podcast.

Basically, it's Scott and me. We're planning this for every Monday during the rest of the "off season." (It's not really the off season.)

We will talk Iowa football and basketball, as we did today with basketball recruiting taking the two top spots. We also will time it, something a little different with the webcasts, brought to you by Jim Miller Subaru (thank you!). They've always been five minutes. The "On Iowa" Sports Desk is five minutes, with five topics taking up a minute.

If you hear one of us go "unhhhhhttthht," that's our imitation of a buzzer going off. I need to find an iPhone app that we can time up. So, five minutes, five topics. Make your point and move on.
