Stewart Cink has a new Iowa cap -- courtesy of Zach Johnson and Iowa's Orange Bowl win

Zach Johnson and Stewart Cink made a wager last week.
If Iowa won the Orange Bowl over Georgia Tech, Tech graduate Cink had to wear an Iowa cap in Hawaii. If the Yellow Jackets won, Hawkeyes fan Johnson had to wear a Georgia Tech cap.
The two players are currently competing in the Sony Open in Honolulu. The cap was to be worn the previous week at the PGA Tour's season-opening event in Maui, but Johnson didn't get it mailed to him in time for Cink to wear. I haven't learned yet if Cink actually wore the cap during play. My guess is no, because sponsors come first.
As you can see from this twitpic, 2009 British Open champion Cink has been a good sport about the bet and Tech's 24-14 loss to the Hawkeyes.
Last Tuesday, Cink was asked for his Orange Bowl-viewing plans that day after finishing a practice round at Kapalua. He said:
"Zach asked me to come watch the game with him and his crowd. I'm not sure I will take him up. I might call him politely and decline."
Johnson, by the way, got right back on his Sony Open horse Thursday.
By that, I mean, he opened defense of his title in the event by shooting a 5-under-par 65. That had him in a tie for the lead with Davis Love III, John Merrick, Robert Allenby, rookie Troy Merritt, and Ryan Palmer. Cink had a 68.
Cink, meanwhile, remains the PGA Tour's Twitter King, though many others on the tour have joined the social media phenomenon.
Cink has over 1.2 million followers at http://twitter.com/stewartcink
Love, who lives in the same Sea Island, Ga., community that Johnson now inhabits, Tweets here: http://twitter.com/Love3d
