Scenes from Penn State's Beaver Stadium three hours before Iowa-Penn State kickoff
Mike Hlas Sep. 26, 2009 4:08 pm
Tailgating is a bit moist.
I had big plans to go out and about in the parking lots and on campus, take snapshots of various slices of Game Day life. But it is raining. A lot. And my feet are already wet and cold. Pity me. Please, please, pity me.
Oh by the way, our real photographers will be out in that rain all night long. So save a smidgen of pity for them, too, I guess.
It kind of looks like a hockey rink, no? But it's white tarp covering the Beaver Stadium field. The vast majority of the 107,000 seats, however, are puddly.
This is where Brent sits during the game. Brent is Brent Musburger, play-by-play man for ABC's telecast.
The green is the background in the ABC broadcasting booth. The bird? I didn't ask.
