POLL: What is your biggest disappointment of the first five months of 2010?

Into every life a little rain must fall.

There's always something that doesn't quite measure up to expectations, or that knocks us for a loop.

Me, I had hoped to have one rich and generous relative. Just one. Nope.

I wanted to have a weed-free summer after ditching a lawn-care service after last fall. Nope.

I wanted invitations to really swell parties, a ride in a hot-air balloon.

 I want neighborhood dogs who only bark when there is a burglar. I want neighborhood birds to explain why they won't touch the new bird feed I bought for them. It cost twice as much as the old stuff that they loved.

I want North Korea to behave itself. I want Lindsay Lohan to do the same thing.

And 2010 isn't even half over.
