Jordan Bernstine on the left, looking good and practicing. Adam Robinson on the right, in a red "no-contact" jersey. Remember, he's got the ankle injury. He said he's fine, though. Can't see it from here, but he's got a Tiger Hawk and his number cut into the back of his head. It's falling apart fast, that hair is growing.
This is Jewel Hampton and Jeff Brinson. They're both out for the Orange Bowl. Hampton is still rehabbing the ACL he tore in June. He looks like he could play, but he's taking that redshirt. Brinson had ankle surgery earlier this year and was really struggling during some sprints. Next year for him. He'll be a sophomore.
This is cornerback Shaun Prater. He was on a bike. Don't know the deal there.
Quarterback Ricky Stanzi warming up. He's looked fine to me Wednesday. I think he was a little limited today, probably precautionary. The red jersey, "no-contact," is safety Brett Greenwood.
Senior wide receiver Trey Stross is stretching. He's got a knee problem, but is expected to be ready to go for the Orange Bowl. He ran through some sprints before this shot.
Just a group of players stretching. They've had quite a few celebrity run-ins over there at the fancy Fountanbleu Hotel, including Jamie Foxx and Dennis Rodman. Stanzi has Lady Gaga on his iPod. I like Stanzi, but I don't think we'd be beer-drinking buds (he probably doesn't drink, judging from how good of shape he's in.
Senior wide receiver Trey Stross stretches before Wednesday's practice.
This is the stretching and warm-up period. You really have to listen, but there's a road apple here and there in the motivation department.
This is Iowa's O-line warming things up on Wednesday.
Lots and lots of special teams practice Wednesday at Barry University.
