Yes, he's ready to play. His answer on the health of the running backs is either a five-alarm fire or a sarcasm explosion. The best stuff here is his comments on freshman OL Riley Reiff -- "played as well as any offensive lineman we've had all season" -- and DT Karl Klug. Reiff may very well end up playing tackle Tuesday night, which also might be a commentary on how well he's played this season. Also, Ferentz said all Hawkeyes were academically cleared for the Orange Bowl. OL Dace Richardson will play, rotating in at guard.
