AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Getting ownership of a Masters badge is something that requires getting on a waiting list and having decades of patience.
In other words, forget about it.
But like every other event in sports, if you're willing to pay a hefty price, you can get a ticket (they call them badges) to the Masters. I've talked to many people here the last few years who bought from scalpers.
They pay. Oh, they pay.
The ticket-brokers work in varying locations, as the following photos I took this week in Augusta show:
