Make no mistake about it, Sanderson's move to Penn State changes college wrestling and has Tom Brands' attention

Tom Brands spoke Wednesday in Cedar Rapids about what the move of Cael Sanderson from Iowa State to Penn State means for Hawkeye wrestling.

I'll have a column on the matter here later this afternoon. Here's a sample of Brands' comments:

"It's probably going to be felt immediately, and already has been felt."

"Eight of the 10 national champions grew up within a four-hour drive of Happy Valley. That doesn't mean anything to me."
