I wasn't sure how this would go.
We cleaned out the office about a month ago. I kept finding all this old Hawkeye media stuff. I had a few programs, old media guides and bowl guides. Stuff that was sent to me by book companies.
I thought, let's have an auction. Let's do something good here. I'm sure this stuff will find a home (for me, anymore, if I can't find it on my computer, it doesn't do me any good).
Gazette columnist Mike Hlas and HawkeyeReport.com's Tom Kakert kicked in with some gracious donations.
We raised $1,650 for Camp Courageous.
You should be very proud. Thank you for your generous contributions. I'll be in Chicago for a few days. The stuff will be mailed and we'll settle accounts this week.
You're the best!
