KCRG's Scott Saville puts up with Hlas and me this week.
We talk Michigan QB Denard Robinson, the mystique of the Big House and the shelf life of Iowa running back Adam Robinson.
Michigan Stadium completed a three-year, $226 million renovation project when the Wolverines opened the season Sept. 4 against UConn. The stadium now seats 113,000 and, supposedly, is louder than it has been. The bowl now captures the crowd noise and directs it toward the field. At least that's the claim by UM.
And here's my favorite part about Michigan Stadium's renovation (from the UM's FAQ section on the topic):
Q: Will you allow advertising inside the Stadium?
A: There are no plans to add advertising inside the stadium.
I know that doesn't seem like a big deal in the age of the "Case IH red zone," but I think it oozes class. And in this day of crazy promotion, it's rather striking when you're inside the stadium.
