Iowa women 2nd, Alexander first-team preseason pick

Iowa's women's basketball team was tabbed for second place by both the coaches and media in the preseason Big Ten poll, which was released Thursday.

Ohio State was selected as the league favorite.

Iowa guard Kachine Alexander was named to the first team by both the coaches and media. Alexander was a unanimous selection by the coaches.
