Could this be a portent that the Big Ten is considering inviting Iowa State to join its cartel?
Uh, no. But if you like college volleyball, here's news you might want:
AMES, Iowa – The Big Ten Network with air Saturday's volleyball match between No. 12 Iowa State (9-1) and No. 8 Nebraska (6-1) on tape-delay, it has been announced. The match will air on Sunday Sept. 18 at 5 p.m. CDT and again on Monday Sept. 19 at 8 p.m. CDT.
This season's meeting between the Cyclones and Huskers will mark the first time in the series history in which the teams have met in non-conference play.
Iowa State is coming off a loss at No. 15 UNI on Tuesday and the Huskers last faced Weber State, earning the 3-0 win.
Saturday night's match is set for 8 p.m. CDT at the Devaney Center on the University of Nebraska campus.
Whoever designed this, tell me and I'll give you the credit here
