Red-shirt freshman Shane DiBona and true freshman James Morris worked with the first-team defense in warm-ups today. DiBona lined up at weak-side linebacker, while Morris lined up in the middle.

Original starters Jeff Tarpinian and Jeremiha Hunter worked in drills but did not compete in the team portion of pre-game. Middle linebacker Troy Johnson, who has started the last three games, worked with the second-team at middle linebacker.
