Hlas' AP Top 25 ballot: Rest of the nation catches up to me on putting Oregon No. 1
Mike Hlas Oct. 17, 2010 2:16 am
I bumped Oregon to No. 1 on my Associated Press Top 25 ballot last week. Today, the Ducks get that spot in the poll thanks to Ohio State's loss to Wisconsin.
So here is my ballot. I normally have long-winded explanations. But right now, it's 2 a.m. after an 18-hour trip from my driveway to Michigan Stadium via the Iowa City airport. I can't tell if I'm hearing Lou Holtz's voice in my head, or if my TV is on and it's airing a replay of College Football Final.
Either way, it's not a good thing.
I'm sorry to say goodbye to Nevada after its 27-21 loss at Hawaii. But I'm delighted the national-title game between Boise State and TCU or Utah is still in play.
1. Oregon (7-0)
