Hawk Auction Item No. 50 -- '84 Action Guide

It took me forever, but I finally figured out what the "Action Guide" is.

It was the media guide, but the UI either freelanced or used stories from sportswriters across the state to fill it.

It's a full-color, glossy magazine with some fantastic photos and Iowa info.

This one includes Q&As with Chuck Long and Larry Station and feature stories on Owen Gill, Tom Nichol, Mike Stoops, Ronnie Harmon and Paul Hufford.

Cover still looks good, but is start to peel a off the staples, so far from mint.

Why don't they do these anymore? Oh yeah, everyone guards their content like it's gold doubloons.

Bidding starts at at $10. It will end noon Monday.

This is open bidding here on this blog. I'll give each item 24 hours from the time it's posted. I'll post when that is so everyone knows when to jump in with their last-minute flurry bids.

The proceeds will go to Camp Courageous, a year-round respite care and recreational facility for individuals of all ages with disabilities located southeast of Monticello.
