GQ: The worst fans in America include those of Penn State and Wisconsin football

Way to go, Big Ten!
This item is four months old, but these are dog days of summer for a sportswriter in a non-pro market.
GQ Magazine has a list of its 15 worst groups of sports fans in the U.S., and Big Ten football can claim two of five spots that went to college football.
Penn State checks in at No. 7 for some dastardly behavior over the years. This story is a pretty good argument for the ranking.
Wisconsin is a not-so-proud (?) 13th for, well, drinky. Of course.
The other college football fans to make the list are from West Virginia (No. 3), LSU (No. 10) and Oregon (No. 14). The SEC has to be disappointed with this weak showing.
College basketball had two entries, both from the ACC. Maryland is fifth, Duke eighth. The Big Ten just can't make any in-roads in basketball, it seems.
