Fourth of July Video Jukebox
Mike Hlas Jul. 4, 2011 1:31 am
This band is called Dawes. They have a song getting some notice now called "Time Spent in Los Angeles" that is very good. But this is a few years old and a lot of fun. It's the band covering Joe Cocker's cover of the Beatles' "With a Little Help From My Friends." This is good.
Some say the Fourth of July is the official start of summer. I think that is ... crazy. Unless you live in Alaska. But that said, here's Ray LaMontagne's "For the Summer" on "Late Night with David Letterman."
Since it's the U.S.A.'s birthday and all, how about something the Steve Miller Band's "Livin' in the USA." Somebody get me a cheeseburger!
And one more for America. Linda Ronstadt and Chuck Berry, backed up by Keith Richards.
