'Four downs' links

Here are the "Four Downs" links in a nice, neat package. Hopefully, they make sense and give you a guide for a few of the hotspots going into spring drills, which begin Wednesday.
We might learn some things about right offensive tackle, left cornerback and middle linebacker this spring. I'd throw running back in there, but I don't think you'll see any of the candidates -- Jewel Hampton, Adam Robinson and Brandon Wegher -- tackled this spring and maybe not even next fall. Robinson is also out after shoulder surgery.
Yes, it's only one exposure to the competition, but this is one of the two times a year we'll see kickers Daniel Murray and Trent Mossbrucker in a head-to-head setting. It's just one look, but it's a guage in front of a crowd, which might have some meaning to it.
Some great discussion on these posts.
Speaking of discussion, chat tomorrow at noon. I'll post the "Cover It Live" link in a bit. Topics will include the Iowa basketball search, UNI's historic run into the Sweet Sixteen and Iowa spring football. Please, join Iowa basketball beat writer Scott Dochterman, columnist Mike Hlas (who's on the road with UNI) and me (Iowa football).
