Former Iowa Hawkeye defensive tackle Mitch King is an Indianapolis Colt who likes to play craps

Mitch King is shorter of hair than he was as an Iowa senior two years ago, but he's still Mitch King.
Trying to make the Indianapolis Colts' roster after signing with the team as a free agent last winter, King was the subject of a Q&A on the Indianapolis Star's Web site.
Among the tidbits to be gleaned:
"I love to gamble. ... I'm growing fond of craps."
And his last meal would include chicken lips from Martini's (Grille) back home (in Burlington)."
Besides playing defensive tackle, King has been used a little as a fullback in short-yardage situations. So fantasy football owners, take note. He could be a 10-touchdown guy. Not really.
Several days ago, this Star story quoted King about catching passes in practice from Peyton Manning:
"I don't know about being comfortable because I've got the nerves flying around. You've got to look comfortable to make it look good. Peyton throws a great ball. All of the quarterbacks here throw a great ball. They make it easy for us.''
"You've got to be open to anything. I'm a D-lineman first and a short-yardage guy next.''
King is listed as the Colts' second-team defensive tackle on the depth chart at the team's Web site.
He was an undrafted free agent last season. He signed with the Tennessee Titans and was on their practice squad for 17 days before getting waived.
