Former Hawkeye coach has fond memories of Iowa players
Ex-Iowa assistant basketball coach LaVall Jordan thinks of his former Hawkeye players like one would think of an ex-girlfriend.
That's what Jordan, now a Michigan assistant coach, told Michael Rothstein of www.AnnArborNews.com in a feature story that appeared online and in print.
Jordan assisted Todd Lickliter for three seasons before Lickliter was fired last spring.
Rothstein spoke with multiple Iowa players including Matt Gatens and Jarryd Cole about their relationship with Jordan, and all were positive.
