Former Gopher pays football tribute (?) to Michael Jackson
Mike Hlas Jul. 2, 2009 1:40 pm
I'm not sure how this is really respectful, but Toronto Argonauts receiver Arland Bruce, formerly of the University of Minnesota, caught a touchdown pass Wednesday night. That's when the fun began.
Bruce removed his helmet, shoulder pads and uniform top and laid down in the end zone. He later said he was honoring the memory of Michael Jackson by pretending to be buried.
He received two objectionable conduct penalties. Canada, after all, is a civilized nation.
