I know this came out last week -- when I was out of the office -- but in the interest of keeping up here are some more Iowa football kickoff times.
From Iowa sports info:
MORE IOWA FOOTBALL TIMES SET
IOWA CITY, IA – Times for three more University of Iowa football games have been set. Kickoff for Hawkeyes games against Eastern Illinois, Iowa State and Arizona were announced today by the Big Ten and Pac-10 conferences.
Iowa's season opener against Eastern Illinois on Sept. 4th will begin at 11 a.m. (CDT) and will be shown on the Big Ten Network. The Iowa State game, the following week, will kick off at 2:30 p.m. and will be shown regionally by ABC. Both are Iowa home games in Kinnick Stadium.
The first Hawkeye road game, at Arizona on Sept. 18th , will begin at 9:30 p.m. (CDT). The game will be televised by ESPN.
Previously announced Hawkeye starting times and TV included the Oct. 2nd Penn State contest in Iowa City and the Michigan game, in Ann Arbor, on Oct. 16th. The Penn State game will kick off at 7 p.m. while the Michigan game will begin at 2:30 p.m. All listed times are central daylight.

I think there could be more 2:30 than 11 kicks this season, which is good. That means your team is playing meaningful games.

"LOST" finale? Meh.
Never a big fan of the show. I'm more of an X Files guy (nerdly about that show). I just got into it the last two or three seasons. It was entertaining, but I can't say that I was invested as I am in, say, "Breaking Bad."
Still, the cosmic/spiritual ending was intriguing, but begged the question when did they all die? On the crash?
It reminded me of the fine show "St. Elsewhere," from NBC before "ER" took off. That ended with the entire series being the dream world of an autistic child.
I know "LOST" has it fanatics. I'm not ripping. I did enjoy the show, just not fanatical.
Now "Breaking Bad," what do you want to know?
__________
We are entering the long Horse Latitudes that is pre-camp summer of college football. If your team isn't in the news now, that's a good thing. The big news from here on our are academics and injuries, two items that'll leave you with summer sunburn.
I've got some idea for topics, but would love to hear from you, too. Feel free to e-mail (marc.morehouse@gazcomm.com). No ideas are silly, but remember access is extremely limited. Players begin summer conditioning workouts this week, I believe.

Cubs? Thank you, come again.
_________
Blackhawks? This Stanley Cup series is going to put me six feet under. My Stanley Cup series beard is coming along nicely, though.
I've promised to re-enact the championship scene from "Slapshot" in my neighborhood on rollerblades if the Hawks win it all. I didn't say what time, though.

Again, thanks for reading and for the kind words on the "Rookies" series. Feel free to send your key rookies. Be happy to put together a community post.
