Describe your feelings about Wednesday's Illinois-Iowa men's basketball game in 1,000 words or less
Mike Hlas Feb. 2, 2010 2:09 pm
Be succinct. Be windy. Use Haiku. Write a screenplay.
Many an Illinois-Iowa basketball game has been eagerly anticipated. Wednesday's? You tell me.
The last time they met was Jan. 5 in Champaign. You probably don't remember that game. You probably didn't see it. It was played at the same time as the Orange Bowl.
Illinois opened the game with a 22-4 lead. Eric May (pictured below) had a team-high 9 points for the Hawkeyes.
Will the second go-round be different? Will you attend, watch on television, care? Spill your emotions, people. It's good for you.
Me, I'll be covering the Wichita State-Northern Iowa game in Cedar Falls. The Shockers are 19-4, the Panthers are 19-2.
