It was a pleasure to be a part of Monday's "On Iowa Live" with special guest Dan Gable.
Gable was generous with his time and his candor in driving up to Capone's in Cedar Rapids to join KCRG-TV's Scott Saville, Iowa radio wrestling analyst and former Hawkeye NCAA champion Mark Ironside, and myself. He did a terrific job, and we're grateful to him.
He was serious, he was funny, and like always, he was genuine.
