Bleccch! Iowa has lined up Missouri State in football, too

Oh brother.
Besides tacking on perennial Division I-A doormat North Texas to its schedule for 2015 and 2017, Iowa's football program has added I-AA Missouri State for 2013. Give the Iowa City Press-Citizen's Andy Hamilton credit for that scoop.
The news is hardly thrilling. It shows there will be something left for Hawkeye fans to look foward to after I-AA Eastern Illinois plays the Hawkeyes in Kinnick Stadium next year.
The Hawkeyes have two open dates on their 2011, 2012 and 2013 schedules. My advice to the athletic director and the football coach is to find the least-interesting, least-capable teams that are available.
