All military personnel, I want to hear from you

I don't know the form this is going to take, but I know it's about time to recognize all military personnel on this blog.
My idea is to run as many of your stories and photos for the Gameday centerpiece story on the morning of next week's Michigan game.
Any story. Stories of triumph or peril. Stories of your Hawkeye devotion. Whatever stories you want to tell. If it's a "Go Hawks," I'm good with that, too.
All military personnel, veterans, please e-mail me marc.morehouse@sourcemedia.net. If you have photos flying the Hawkeye flag anywhere in the world, send it. I'll find a place for all of it.
Right now, I like the idea of banner carriers. I that's where football and military intersect the most. Someone is carrying the flag. Obviously, the stakes are much higher for our armed forces.
Send anything you have to this e-mail marc.morehouse@sourcemedia.net. You can also find me on Twitter at @marcmorehouse. "On Iowa" also has a Facebook page.
The University of Iowa is recognizing vets. I'd like to help out as much as I can.
Thank you and God bless!
The guy in the picture is Major Michael Lynch, an Iowa alum that led the flyover for the Iowa/Penn State game at Kinnick in '08. The picture was taken in Baghdad a few weeks ago, and he'll be serving in Iraq at least through the end of this calendar year. He's a great American, a great friend and father and one of the most passionate Hawk fans you'll find. (Contributed photo)
