A Michigan-Alabama football game in Dallas in 2012?

And a Michigan "home game" at that?
Well, mgoblog.com, which is the go-to site for Michigan fans, says the contract for the meeting of the Wolverines and Crimson Tide in Cowboys Stadium will happen Monday.
The link to mgoblog's story is here.
mgoblog says:
# Game is happening because a desperate Jerry Jones "overpaid."
# Michigan will be the nominal home team (important mostly for TV rights) and receive more money.
# There's no additional game scheduled and there may not be.
We shall see. But don't be surprised if such "home games" become more and more commonplace as major programs are less and less inclined to do home-and-home series with fellow powers.
Thar's gold in them thar NFL stadiums, which is why Indiana is playing a "home game" against Penn State this year at FedExField outside of Washington, D.C.
A Michigan home field?
