Tevin Schultz is a 6-foot-7 senior forward for Dubuque Senior’s boys basketball team, a four-year starter. He scored 26 points Tuesday night as his Class 4A fifth-ranked Rams won at 3A No. 7 Cedar Rapids Xavier, 59-36. He broke Senior’s record for most career points in the process.

Philip Jacobs wants to be his best but he is also focused on Linn-Mar’s team success. He’s willing to do whatever helps the team, moving up to 190 pounds. Jacobs went 5-0 and host Linn-Mar claimed the team title Saturday at the Lions Duals.
In a non-conference boys basketball game, Marion visited No. 3 Cedar Rapids Xavier Saturday to win 74-60 led by junior Tait Rahe’s 26 points.
The Trojans are ranked seventh in Class 3A. They won nine matches, including eight by pin or technical fall, to defeat Cedar Rapids Xavier, 47-19, in a boys wrestling dual Thursday night at West. The Trojans won the girls’ dual, 42-39.
