Guests to the museum will have the opportunity to meet and talk with all the artists in one place and to buy works of art in all shapes, sizes and disciplines. Artists will be selling paintings, prints, functional work, stained glass, collage, fiber art, textiles, jewelry and notecards.
The 40 works of art provide a compelling snapshot of the innovative printmaking happening in Mexico, and in Oaxaca in particular. The newly acquired works will be the subject of a stand-alone exhibition at the CRMA in the near future.
The exhibit, “Men and Women at Work: Images of Labor from the Collection,” will explore the world of work and workers and is open now through Jan. 18, 2026, at the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art.
Proceeds from the evening will support educational and outreach programming at the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art and throughout the community.

The Cedar Rapids Museum of Art will offer free admission this summer for the 16th year of their Free Summer Admission Program. Admission to CRMA will be free for all visitors July 1 through Aug. 31, 2025.
In recognition of the 50th anniversary of KCCK-FM, Iowa’s only jazz radio station, the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art brings together photographs of jazz musicians taken by Cedar Rapids natives for an exhibition titled “All that Jazz: Photographs by Carl Van Vechten and George T. Henry.”
