High school football teams play in the Iowa High School Athletic Association playoffs. All seven classes will compete in the Round of 16 for a spot in the state quarterfinals.

Derek Roling directed a masterful 68-yard drive over the final five minutes, capping it on a QB sneak with 32 seconds to play as the Lions went on to upset the Tigers, 21-13.
