Satellite voting site open today at Hiawatha Public Library

CEDAR RAPIDS - The Hiawatha Public Library is hosting an early voting satellite location today from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The special polling site, which is located at 150 W. Willman St., was requested because of the presence of a $1.2 million bond issue on the ballot to help pay for expansion and renovations to the library.
In addition, the Cedar Rapids Public Library will host a satellite voting location from noon to 6 p.m. Wednesday. Voters in all Linn County elections can vote at the site.
Meanwhile, in-person absentee voting at the Linn County Auditor's Office - located in the Jean Oxley Public Service Center, 935 Second St. SW. - runs through Nov. 6.
Voters also can request to have absentee ballots mailed to them. Mailed ballots must be postmarked on or before Nov. 6.

To the south in Johnson County, early voting began Oct. 18 at the Johnson County Administrative Services Building, 913 S. Dubuque St.
The Auditor's Office also will be open to voters on Sunday, Nov. 5 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

l Oct. 25, from 2:30 - 5:30 p.m. at Broadway Neighborhood Center, 2105 Broadway St.
l Oct. 25, from 2:30 - 5:30 p.m. at Pheasant Ridge Neighborhood Center, 2651 Roberts Road
l Oct. 27, from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. at Iowa Memorial Union, 125 N. Madison St.
l Oct. 31, from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, 200 Hawkins Drive
l Nov. 2, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Iowa City Public Library, 123 S. Linn St.
l Nov. 5, from noon to 4 p.m. at Coralville Public Library, 1401 Fifth St.
