One newcomer to join North Liberty council

North Liberty's City Council will add one newcomer next year following the Tuesday city election.
According to Election Day results Tuesday night, incumbents Chris Hoffman and Terry Donahue held their respective seats, while newcomer Jim Sayre beat fellow challenger Jay Johnson for the seat to be left vacant by departing council member Coleen Chipman.
A total of 465 votes were cast in the election, representing a voter turnout of a little more than 5 percent.
