Huckabee to campaign for Vander Plaats in Cedar Rapids

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, winner of the 2008 Iowa Republican caucuses, will campaign for GOP gubernatorial candidate Bob Vander Plaats in Cedar Rapids Feb. 24.
Huckabee will be the featured speaker at a private fundraiser for Vander Plaats at noon Feb. 24 at the Cedar Rapids Country Club. Tickets for the event are $1,500 per person or $2,500 per couple.
He also will appear at a 5:30 p.m. rally for the Vander Plaats' campaign at the Cedar Rapids Marriott Hotel, 1200 Collins Road NE. That event is free and open to the public.
