Conlin has $1 million cash on hand

DES MOINES – Roxanne Conlin's campaign for the Democratic U.S. Senate nomination has more than $1 million in the bank.
Iowans made up 81 percent of the campaign's contributors, 78 percent of the donations are $100 or less and none is from Washington lobbyists or PACs.
Conlin's campaign to unseat Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley has raised $1,483,191 -- $629,615 of that in the first quarter of 2010. Her total include $250,000 from Conlin herself.
The Conlin campaign says it has $1,000,455 cash on hand.
It claims that it has raise more than all of Grassley's previous challengers combined.
