Workshop on Job and Income Inequality set by Hawkeye Labor Council

A free interactive workshop on job and income inequality will be offered Tuesday, Feb. 28, in Cedar Rapids.
Topics covered in the 90-minute workshop will include what has happened to jobs, job quality, and workers' rights in recent decades. It also will discuss key economic trends and real-life impacts of the growing inequality, and what kind of economic policy choices are available.
The workshop will be presented by the University of Iowa Labor Center from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28 at the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 405 Hall, 1211 Wiley Blvd.
