Appointments

Four Oaks announced Brad Thatcher (see photo) has joined the agency as controller. Thatcher was previously with the University of Iowa Foundation and McGladrey.

Mount Mercy University in Cedar Rapids appointed Walter Chien (see photo) as grant development specialist and Katie Clime (see photo) as director of communications and reporting. Chien was previously with Mecca Services in Iowa City as a grants coordinator. Clime had served as the coordinator of communications and reporting in Mount Mercy's Office of Admissions.

Steve Reinig (see photo) joined Community Savings Bank as agricultural financing specialist. Reinig is a graduate of Wartburg College and the graduate school of banking at the University of Wisconsin.

Elections

K.C. Flynn, president of Suburban Lumber Co., was elected to the Iowa Lumber Association board of trustees.
