Nyemaster Goode announced David Bright and Stacey Hall have joined the law firm. Bright will practice in the firm's Corporate, Business and Banking Department. Hall will practice in the Firm's Litigation Department, with an emphasis on labor and employment and gaming law. Both will be in the Cedar Rapids office.
Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids appointed William Mausser nurse manager for the Intensive Care Center. Mausser worked at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics where he spent 11 years in various nursing positions.
Bankers Trust hired Lisa Karr as vice president-commercial banking. Karr was with Wells Fargo Bank.
CRST Expedited Inc. hired Scott Randall as director-safety. Before CRST, Scott was director-safety at Hogan Transport in St. Louis, Mo.
Yellowbook in Cedar Rapids promoted Yvette Clapp to senior manager-distribution internal operations. Clapp has been an employee of Yellowbook for more than four years.
Iowa Bankers Association elected new officers and directors to serve on its 2011-12 board. New officers from the Corridor include Ron Hansen, Liberty Trust & Savings Bank, Durant, as chairman of the board; Charlie Funk, MidWestOne Bank, Iowa City, past chairman of the board; and John Sorensen, IBA, secretary. Newly elected to the board from the Corridor was Joseph Topinka, Cedar Valley Bank & Trust, La Porte City. Continuing his term will be Michael Dunn, F&M Bank, Cedar Rapids.
CRST announced the following promotions: Chad Brueck was promoted to vice president-operations for CRST Expedited Inc. Lance Votroubek was moved up to director-load planning for CRST Expedited Inc. Jim Erickson was promoted to assistant controller for CRST International Inc.
Hills Bank and Trust Co. announced several promotions. Brian Globokar was promoted to vice president-trust officer in the Cedar Rapids downtown office. Ken Hinrichs was promoted to vice president for e-banking services in the Hills office. Brad Joens was promoted to first vice president, commercial banking in the Cedar Rapids office. Karen Karr was promoted to vice president-controller in the Hills office. Kevin Sheehan was promoted to vice president-internal audit in the Hills office. Lisa Shileny was promoted to vice president-legal administration in the Hills office. Kelly Thompson was promoted from to first vice president-commercial deposits in the bank's Cedar Rapids northeast office.
