Appointments

Terry Lockridge & Dunn/World Trend Financial announced the appointment of Terry Bergen as director of marketing and business development. Bergen was most recently with United Way of East Central Iowa.

Jill Miller joined Physicians' Clinic of Iowa as nurse practitioner. Miller will work collaboratively with PCI's five neurologists to provide care for patients suffering from stroke, headache disorders, memory and dementia disorders, neuromuscular disorders and sleep disorders.

Mindy Olson and Ethan Domke were named vice presidents with Paulson Electric. Olson was previously a lawyer with Foulston Siefkin in Wichita, Kan. Domke was a lawyer with Klenda, Mitchell, Austerman & Zuercher, also in Wichita.

Sara Hubbell joined Physicians' Clinic of Iowa as acute care nurse practitioner. Hubbell will work with Dr. Jeffrey Nielsen, general surgeon with PCI-surgical specialists, to provide advanced nursing care to patients with complex acute, critical and chronic health conditions.

Promotions

Berthel Fisher & Co. announced several recent promotions. Karen Brandenburg was promoted to regional compliance OSJ manager. Brandenburg has been with the company since 2007. James Hohn was promoted to IT manager. Hohn was previously network administrator.

Jamie Yeisley  was promoted to department manager of transfer of assets. Yeisley has been with Berthel Fisher since 2007. Joyce Rogers was promoted to department manager of cashiering. Rogers has been with Berthel Fisher since 2007. Holly Sanfratello was promoted to department manager of new accounts. Sanfratello has been with Berthel Fisher since 2006.

Yellowbook has promoted Eric McDonald to the director of distribution quality assurance. McDonald has been an employee of Yellowbook for more than 14 years.

Elections

Elected to the Foundation 2 board of directors for 2011-2012 were Elizabeth Ray, president; Karen Green, vice president; Pat Dunkel, secretary; and Susan Roben, treasurer. Elected as at-large directors were Jim Affeldt, C.J. Kleene, Don Damsteegt, Ben Fiedler, Lisa Goodwin, Eric Hearn, Mark Hixson, Ellen Ramsey-Kacena, Cindy Rittmer and Teel Salaun.

Dee Baird has been elected to the board of directors of the Hall-Perrine Foundation. Baird is interim president of the Cedar Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce and president of Priority One.
