Cary Jordan returned to Stamats Communications as principal writer in the ESG division. Jordan most recently was at Simpson College, but previously with Stamats for eight years.
Also, Stamats has promoted Tiffany Sutterer to senior project communication manager in the ESG division. Sutterer has been with Stamats for three years and was previously project communication manager.
United Fire & Casualty Co. announced East Coast regional office branch manager Ray Dudonis was named vice president. Dudonis joined Mercer Insurance Group, a subsidiary of United Fire, in 2006 as underwriting vice president.
The Washington Free Public Library board of trustees named former resident Debbie Stanton as the new director for the library. She comes from Kenai, Ala., where she has worked as a grant assistant for the Kenaitze Indian Tribe.
Back in Line Family Chiropractic & Wellness in Hiawatha announced that Dr. Nate Weber joined in May. Weber is a Cedar Rapids native, having completing his master of science in sports science and rehabilitation and doctorate degrees at Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Mo.
The Cedar Rapids Optimist Club elected its officers and board of directors for 2011-2013. Elections include Terry Arnold, Alliant Energy, president, and Rich Moritz, Primus Construction, president-elect.
Robin Walenta, president and CEO of West Music Co. in Coralville, was named executive committee secretary for the National Association of Music Merchants.
