Waterstreet Coffee Bar to open this fall at Iowa River Landing
CORALVILLE - Waterstreet Coffee Bar will open at Iowa River Landing in mid-October.
Waterstreet will sell coffee, wine, small-plate menu items and pastries.
Owner Jennifer Henningsen said there will be seating for 30 to 40 people inside the 1,490-square foot business. She plans to hire 8 to 10 employees.
This is Henningsen's first small business venture. Henningsen said she is still selecting from various roasters that will provide the coffee.
Henningsen said she'd long “had an interest in both coffee and owning my own business," she said. "Just in general, the kind of vibe, I feel like that area's going to generate into in the next five years, I feel like it's going to be kind of a new happening place in the Iowa City-Coralville area."
