Washington Chamber hires Peiffer as new marketing coordinator

We are excited to welcome Michelle Peiffer to serve as the Washington Chamber of Commerce's first Marketing Coordinator.  Michelle will be part-time and will be assisting me in carrying our existing and new Chamber projects and programs, as well as working with our membership and with social media.Michelle has an extensive marketing background that will help take the Chamber in new and exciting directions.She currently serves as the Prior to that, she worked as a Marketing Coordinator at Michelle has traveled extensively and has conversational experience in Spanish.  She once taught English as a second language in Southeast Asia. Michelle has an extensive marketing background that will help take the Chamber in new and exciting directions.

She currently serves as the Director of Communication Strategy for Indigo Dawn, a comprehensive company offering sustainable community solutions to Main Street communities by providing expertise in historic preservation, business development, communications education and event management.

Prior to that, she worked as a Marketing Coordinator at Natural Living Productions, a Program Manager for Sajilo Solutions, LLC, and also as an account executive for a company that provided customized in-flight marketing to a global entertainment network.

Michelle has traveled extensively and has conversational experience in Spanish.  She once taught English as a second language in Southeast Asia. A graduate of Washington High School and of the University of Iowa Tippie College of Business, Michelle is excited to have this opportunity to have an impact on her community.
