Virtual career fair coming to Corridor

Job seekers in the Corridor next month will have a chance to meet-and-greet with local employers without the need to leave their homes.

Corridor Development, a joint venture between the Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance and Iowa City Area Development Group, will host a virtual career fair online from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., March 1.

Employers will have 'virtual booths” to meet with job seekers and interviews will be conducted through an online platform. When job seekers register, they will submit their resumes and can view posted job openings.

Employers can then set up appointments with candidates for interviews.

Participating employers include Rockwell Collins, CRST International, GreatAmerica Financial Services, Kinze Manufacturing, Quaker Oats, the University of Iowa, MediRevv and more.
